Starting fresh this summer—sunshine, reflection, and self-kindness. June’s here—and so are all the feelings.
The pressure to get your “summer body.” The backyard barbecues. The clothes that maybe fit a little differently. Maybe you’re feeling hopeful. Or overwhelmed. Or like you’ve started over so many times that you should qualify for frequent flyer status.
Either way—deep breath—I want you to know something: You don’t need to start over. You just need to start from where you are. It is not a new body you need this summer but rather a new approach.
Whether you’re taking a GLP-1 medication like Ozempic or Wegovy or simply feeling stuck in your journey, June is a great time to pause, breathe, and decide that you deserve a fresh start, without all the shame.
You have permission.
Permission to move forward gently.
Permission to stop trying to “earn” your meals or “fix” your body.
Permission to make small, sustainable changes instead of all-or-nothing ones.
Permission to enjoy your summer without guilt attached to every bite or step missed.
That’s your June permission slip.
Signed with grace. Backed by science. Delivered with compassion.
You’re Not Behind—You’re Right on Time
Let’s be real: the “bikini body by June” culture is tired. You know what’s way cooler?
- Feeling steady in your habits—even during vacation season
- Eating foods that actually satisfy and fuel you
- Moving in ways that feel like play, not punishment
- Sleeping better because your stress isn’t off the charts
This summer, let’s trade in the guilt for goals that actually feel good.
Small Shifts, Big Impact
The beauty of June? You don’t have to do everything at once. Start with one thing:
- Add a little more protein to your breakfast (even if it’s a Greek yogurt popsicle)
- Take a five-minute walk after dinner instead of phone scrolling
- Say something kind to yourself when you look in the mirror (or at least stop being a jerk to yourself—progress!)
These aren’t dramatic. They’re doable. And doable wins last longer than “perfect” ever does.
If You’re on a GLP-1 Medication
This summer might feel different. Maybe your appetite is weird. Maybe social eating feels awkward. Maybe you’re wondering:
“Do I have to eat if I’m not hungry?”
“Why am I suddenly bloated on beach day?
“Will I ever enjoy food again???”
Totally normal questions. And the answer is: yes, there’s a way through all of it.
That’s why I created the group coaching course GLP-1 and Done™—a 12-week program that helps you understand your medication and yourself:
- Get ahead of side effects
- Find small meals that taste good and actually nourish you
- Make movement part of your day without overthinking it
- Create a routine that sticks—even after summer’s over
If You’re Not on Medication… This Still Applies
Honestly? Everything we talk about in the program benefits anyone who wants to stop yo-yoing and start living. Because the core of this work isn’t about what’s in your prescription bottle. It’s about what’s in your daily choices, your mindset, and your support system.
Here’s Your June Permission Slip
To eat the ice cream.
To rest when you need it.
To move with joy, not pressure.
To be kind to yourself—even when it feels hard.
You’re not broken. You’re becoming. And this summer? Let’s build something that lasts.
